Clinton Country Club is an affordable, beautiful and challenging 18 hole private golf course featuring a well appointed club house for relaxing and connecting with family and friends.  Membership provides you with a chance to slow down life for a while, and savor what matters most to you.  We hope you will consider joining us.
To help you with your application, we’ve provided some answers to commonly asked questions we’ve received from prospective members.
What is your application process?
Our application process is easy.  Our goal is to make getting to know one another a positive experience so you can start enjoying our club.  First, you will need to fill out an application and request two letters of endorsement from two current Clinton Country Club Golfing Members.
Next, submit your two letters and application, along with a $2,000 Initiation Deposit plus 10% CT ADC tax for a total of $2,200.  Your deposit will be refunded should you decide not to take a golfing membership.  (Junior and Social Membership applicants do not have to submit the $2,000 Initiation Deposit.)
Our Membership Committee will review your application and letters.  Then you will be invited to one of our monthly new member interviews at the Clubhouse to have an informal conversation with our Membership Committee.
On the third week of every month, our Board of Directors reviews and approves prospective members.  The next day, our office notifies prospective members of their application status.
How long does it take to become a member?
The membership application process takes approximately 4-6 weeks depending on when you submit your application.  We also need to allow enough time to ensure your name has been featured on our board of prospective members for four weeks.
Is there a waiting list?
Please inquire with the office 860-669-6587.
Can I still join if I don’t know a club member?
Yes, if you are new to the area or don’t know a club member, we’d be happy to introduce you to our PGA Golf Professional, Sean Busca.  Sean will help you get acclimated to the club and introduce you to members so that you have the chance to get to know our membership. You may also request a letter of recommendation from your golf pro at the golf club where you previously belonged.
What are the membership fees at the Clinton Country Club?
We have several membership opportunities that make joining the Clinton Country club affordable.   A description of each membership category is provided below.  Please download our 2018 Schedule of Dues and Fees.
